Getting a tan

We came in this morning and they had decided to put Bryson under the UV lights. They have been monitoring his billirubin count because he has continued to be jaundice. They have never really been concerned but now this will be one less thing on his plate.

They have not yet come by to do his echo. Oh we are praying sooo hard for some good news. We pray the pressures have come down in his lungs. The neonatologist had met with the cardiologists yesterday about his open PDA valve in his heart. Some thought the PDA might be helping his condition and some thought it might be hurting. They came up with a plan, to come way down on his nitric gas to 5 and then do the echo, hoping this will help them see which is the case. Please continue to lift Bryson up in prayer.

  1. Greg and Melissa,
We are so sorry Bryson is having such a struggle. Thank goodness your doctors in Springdale noticed the problem and got him to Children's as quickly as they did. He is in very competent hands there. We are praying for you all.
Kevin and I live in Conway and would love for y'all to come stay here during your stay in Little Rock. Tyler and Lindsey are both gone so the other side of our house is empty. You could come and go as you please. I think you are already planning on going to mother's for a while so if you want to spread out where you stay put ours on the list. Mother is happy to have you and we will be, also.
If we can do anything at all please don't hesitate to call. Just remember that you are never alone. Many people are thinking and praying for you and Bryson but above all that, You have a loving Father who has never left your side during all of this and He continues to watch over you and Bryson every minute of every day. His love and care will get you through.
    With love,
    Kevin and Lynette Sams

  3. I'm always happy to read of any improvement. :) Continuing to pray and will share little B's story with my homegroup tonight, so they will be praying, as well.

    Blessings,

  4. Got to love the bili lights. Peyton had to be in the "tanning bed" herself and those are some of my favorite pictures of her! I'll be praying for good results today. I'll check in on here while I'm gone and I'll see you for sure sometime next week. We are all praying very hard.

    Love,
    Jen Averitt
